Announcement on the intention to conduct a dialogue
MFW Bałtyk II sp. z o.o. and MFW Bałtyk III sp. z o.o. hereby announce their intention to conduct a dialogue with potential suppliers of materials and services for their respective offshore wind farm projects under development (respectively - MFW Bałtyk II and MFW Bałtyk III, hereinafter referred to as the "Projects"). Equinor and Polenergia at the Harvest Festival of the Słupsk Commune
The presence of Equinor and Polenergia in municipalities where offshore wind farm projects will be implemented is expected to last for years. "That's why we try to be with the local community as often and as closely as possible. Our stand at the Harvest Festival of the Słupsk Commune was visited by hundreds of residents – say representatives of the companies. Equinor and Polenergia are already permanent guests in the life of the community of the Słupsk region.

Dialogue and cooperation are the key to the success of offshore wind in Poland
Although there is no turbine spinning in our part of the Baltic Sea yet, the awareness of the benefits of the development of offshore wind energy is constantly growing. This is a great merit of farm developers cooperating with the environment for the sake of a better understanding of the economic, social and environmental effects that the development of a new industry in Poland brings.

The wind of good change blows from the sea
By 2030, wind farms of close to 6 GW are to be built in the Baltic Sea. In the next 10 years, this capacity will increase to 11 GW. Among the planned investments are three projects jointly implemented by Poland's Polenergia and Norway's Equinor: MFW Bałtyk I, MFW Bałtyk II and the MFW Bałtyk III. Their combined capacity is 3 GW, and this will allow up to 6 million Polish households to be supplied with clean, renewable energy per year.

The grand finale of the Equinor and Polenergia offshore wind energy competition
Almost 120 works on offshore wind energy were created as part of an art competition organized by Equinor and Polenergia. The competition was the culmination of the education campaign "One sea, many benefits. Offshore wind energy in my region", which was attended by almost 1500 students from six primary schools in the Słupsk region. The final of the competition with prizes took place in the Lądowisko Kultury in Redzikowo near Słupsk.

More than 100 domestic entrepreneurs responded to the invitation of Polenergia, Equinor, and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy to participate in this unique event.

Meeting with residents about offshore wind farms Bałtyk
The pace of energy transformation in Poland and the impact of investments in offshore wind farms on it were the main topics of the meeting with the inhabitants of the Słupsk Commune. Its participants also asked about the Baltic II and Baltic III projects, including the route of the cable connecting the sea and land parts of offshore farms. It was another information meeting organized by Equinor and Polenergia as part of consultations and dialogue with the local community.

Equinor and Polenergia have contracted cables for the Bałtyk II and III offshore wind farms
Equinor and Polenergia have signed contracts for the design, manufacture, supply and installation of inter-array cables and export cables for the Bałtyk II and Bałtyk III offshore wind farms with a total capacity of 1.44 GW. These are further components necessary for the implementation of key investments for the Polish energy transition.

Several thousand people - primary and high school students - visited the Equinor and Polenergia stand at the first EDU Offshore Wind Career Fair, held in Gdansk on March 14-15. This is a good sign, proving that the offshore wind industry and our Bałtyk projects can be an attractive place for them to work.
